Chief Touchberry has a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and is a graduate of the prestigious Southern Police Institutes’ Administrative Officers Course.

Twelve week (480 hour) residential, accredited college level educational program designed to develop informed, effective, ethically and technically competent law enforcement managers who are capable of assuming positions of leadership in their respective agencies.

Focuses on several major issues affecting the future of criminal justice in Florida, increasing diversity in the workforce, and demonstrating ethical standards for the organization.

Focuses on providing police chiefs with an understanding of many of those critical issues and with interaction with other police chiefs and city officials from whose experience they may learn.

To promote and enhance the highest ethical and professional standards in law enforcement.
